The Zinfandel grapes for this Reserve Port were picked very ripe for concentrated flavors and deep color.
This dessert wine is rich and intense with aromas of fig jam, ripe cherry and dry cranberry. On the palate, you will taste brown sugar, dry sage and black cherry with a warm, nutty finish.
A great companion to anything chocolate: dense chocolate cake covered with ganache, sea salted chocolate caramels or decadent chocolate truffles.
