This bold wine has structured tannins and plenty of dark fruit characteristics: aromas of blackberry, cherry, cracked peppercorn and hints of violet. On the palate, flavors of jammy black currant are followed by clove and an earthiness that leads to a lingering finish.
Winemaker Notes
After fermentation, a portion of the wine was aged on a blend of French and American oak to enhance the black fruit flavors of the final blend.
Pairings
Try pairing this Cab with grilled lamb skewers, spaghetti Bolognese or strong, hard cheeses.
